The supporters of Buitros booed when Hidrocarburo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nemesio Sol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kahlil Suwandi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernandão Rodrigues read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Evaristo Froila's late challenge caught a Buitros's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evaristo Froila helped the player get up and apologised. After 10 played minutes Hidrocarburo FC got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Froila. When Robustiano Geofredo came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Buitros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robustiano Geofredo couldn't finish the play. 13 minutes into the game, Robustiano Geofredo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Kauno Pirnes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Buitros getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Cipriano Dino hit a great ball. 24 minutes in the game, Robustiano Geofredo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Kauno Pirnes having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adan Taurino in the 25th minute of play forced Hidrocarburo FC's goalkeeper Kauno Pirnes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute Adan Taurino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kauno Pirnes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernandão Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nemesio Sol, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Fernandão Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicodim Mangra in the 31st minute of play. After some careless play in the Buitros defense, Nicodim Mangra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernandão Rodrigues. The Buitros fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernandão Rodrigues should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Buitros getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Cipriano Dino hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the match, Buitros's Adan Taurino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kauno Pirnes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fernandão Rodrigues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicodim Mangra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Kauno Pirnes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adan Taurino in the 57th minute of play. Hidrocarburo FC's Kauno Pirnes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Taurino in the 66th minute of play. A well-hit corner resulted in Cipriano Dino heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 75 minutes into the match, Hidrocarburo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adan Taurino came free, but Kauno Pirnes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Buitros's Fernandão Rodrigues proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Buitros from getting a goal against them. After having played for 80 minutes, Adan Taurino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buitros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adan Taurino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kauno Pirnes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adan Taurino in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 86th minute of the match Buitros got a corner. Hidrocarburo FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adan Taurino ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Adan Taurino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hidrocarburo FC's Kauno Pirnes did a great save. 89 minutes into the match, Robustiano Geofredo notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Hidrocarburo FC's Kauno Pirnes. Kauno Pirnes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Adan Taurino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Buitros's supporters rose to their feet, but Adan Taurino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kauno Pirnes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Buitros players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
