An unexpectedly hard shot by Prospero Benvido in the 5th minute of play forced Sangre Guaraní FC's goalkeeper Rameriz Montealegre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Amado Domenec dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rameriz Montealegre, 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, Sangre Guaraní FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Domenec came free, but Rameriz Montealegre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prospero Benvido in the 15th minute of play forced Sangre Guaraní FC's goalkeeper Rameriz Montealegre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eddie Hultman took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rameriz Montealegre. Rameriz Montealegre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 18th minute, Eddie Hultman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rameriz Montealegre was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Amado Domenec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rameriz Montealegre having to interfere. Sangre Guaraní FC's Rameriz Montealegre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Sangre Guaraní FC from getting a goal against them. Rameriz Montealegre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Domenec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Tiburones defense, Cresenciano Pabon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anibal Cordoba. The Tiburones fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anibal Cordoba should have stopped the shot. Rameriz Montealegre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amado Domenec in the 32nd minute of play. Tommy Freitag in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rameriz Montealegre, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 40th minute Prospero Benvido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rameriz Montealegre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esiquio Arrese in the 41st minute of play forced Tiburones's goalkeeper Anibal Cordoba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anibal Cordoba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esiquio Arrese in the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Peruxu Gallegos made the kick off in the second half. Tiburones's Anibal Cordoba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Tiburones from getting a goal against them. Anibal Cordoba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Esiquio Arrese's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amado Domenec in the 53rd minute of play forced Sangre Guaraní FC's goalkeeper Rameriz Montealegre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amador Picavea during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 54th minute, Amador Picavea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eddie Hultman in the 62nd minute of play forced Sangre Guaraní FC's goalkeeper Rameriz Montealegre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eddie Hultman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rameriz Montealegre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Sangre Guaraní FC's Rameriz Montealegre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommy Freitag in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Tommy Freitag left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tiburones fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. In the 80th match minute, Sangre Guaraní FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amador Picavea to maneuver through the defense. Rameriz Montealegre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eddie Hultman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Sangre Guaraní FC booed when Tiburones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iker Indartsu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tiburones fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sangre Guaraní FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
