After 9 played minutes, Suwon Wanderers's 조 표 shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Chukwudi Henry Odhiambo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Suwon Wanderers reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eby Abodunrin in the 11th minute of play forced Suwon Wanderers's goalkeeper Yan de Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute of the match, Lóránt Vörös got a very nice opportunity to score, but Chukwudi Henry Odhiambo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 16thth minute of the game Lóránt Vörös who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yoruba FC's Chukwudi Henry Odhiambo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Chukwudi Henry Odhiambo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacy Czempa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the game, Ignacy Czempa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Chukwudi Henry Odhiambo. Ignacy Czempa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Chukwudi Henry Odhiambo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacy Czempa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Yoruba FC's Chukwudi Henry Odhiambo got control of the ball when Kaj Kruuse tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yan de Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Festus Owotoki, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The supporters of Yoruba FC booed when Suwon Wanderers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. 조 표 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Suwon Wanderers's goal looked a bit too open when Festus Owotoki came free, but Yan de Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yan de Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tochi Oluwafemi in the 38th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 53rd minute, Ignacy Czempa made a precise shot to the right of Chukwudi Henry Odhiambo. Yoruba FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. If Ignacy Czempa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A throw-in in the 60th minute of the game was made by 김 어 with 조 표 as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 66thth minute of the game Tochi Oluwafemi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Suwon Wanderers's Yan de Sousa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacy Czempa in the 72nd minute of play forced Yoruba FC's goalkeeper Chukwudi Henry Odhiambo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kaj Kruuse took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chukwudi Henry Odhiambo. Chukwudi Henry Odhiambo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. In the 78th minute Kaj Kruuse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chukwudi Henry Odhiambo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Kaj Kruuse left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Suwon Wanderers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. After 82 played minutes Yoruba FC got a freekick which was hit by Eby Abodunrin. Chukwumoge Onobo hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Chukwudi Henry Odhiambo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 조 표, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chukwudi Henry Odhiambo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ignacy Czempa went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. 92 minutes into the match, Yoruba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lóránt Vörös came free, but Chukwudi Henry Odhiambo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Suwon Wanderers's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
