Prospero Benvido blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kauno Pirnes having to make a save. Kauno Pirnes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommy Freitag in the 5th minute of play. Anibal Cordoba made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Nemesio Sol sent off a good shot on target. Tiburones's Anibal Cordoba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Tiburones from getting a goal against them. Prospero Benvido hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Anibal Cordoba didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicodim Mangra went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 27 played minutes Tiburones got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Garaile. Hidrocarburo FC's Kauno Pirnes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prospero Benvido in the 32nd minute of play. After taking down the ball on Tiburones's corner Delmiro Mingo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kauno Pirnes quite easily take care of the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Tiburones's Prospero Benvido sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kauno Pirnes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 36 minutes, Delmiro Mingo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tiburones and the Hidrocarburo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tiburones's Delmiro Mingo got a free kick in the 36th minute. Hidrocarburo FC:s Kauno Pirnes showed great skill when he stopped Delmiro Mingo:s penalty. 42 minutes into the match, Hidrocarburo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eddie Hultman came free, but Kauno Pirnes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Tiburones's goalkeeper Anibal Cordoba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nemesio Sol. Kauno Pirnes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amado Domenec in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eddie Hultman was the one to do the kick off. Amado Domenec might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kauno Pirnes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amado Domenec ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 55th minute Nemesio Sol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Cordoba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prospero Benvido's late challenge caught a Hidrocarburo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Prospero Benvido helped the player get up and apologised. Prospero Benvido kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute Nemesio Sol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Cordoba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th match minute, Hidrocarburo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amos Fabiani to maneuver through the defense. Anibal Cordoba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicodim Mangra's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. The audience was convinced that Nicodim Mangra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anibal Cordoba was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. In the 65th match minute, Tiburones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmiro Mingo to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Tiburones getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Eulalio Eder hit a great ball. Anibal Cordoba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nemesio Sol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 80 played minutes Hidrocarburo FC got a freekick which was hit by Kahlil Suwandi. A collision led to Tiburones getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Delmiro Mingo hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute, Nemesio Sol made a precise shot to the right of Anibal Cordoba. Tiburones's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nemesio Sol in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anibal Cordoba saved Tiburones from getting behind. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Nemesio Sol sped through Tiburones's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Anibal Cordoba. After 94 played minutes Hidrocarburo FC got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Sol.
