A collision led to Tiburones getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Eulalio Eder hit a great ball. In the 4th minute, Kanuni-Sultan Süleyman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kanuni-Sultan Süleyman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anibal Cordoba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Bartoleme in the 8th minute of play forced Tiburones's goalkeeper Anibal Cordoba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute Red City Marrakech were awarded a corner. David Bartoleme went to the cornerflag to take it. David Bartoleme made a great header on Red City Marrakech's corner, it was just that Tiburones's Anibal Cordoba managed to reach the ball for a save. After 11 played minutes Red City Marrakech got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Goren. After 12 played minutes, Tiburones's Delmiro Mingo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Grzegorz Sitko came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tiburones reached it. Anibal Cordoba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kanuni-Sultan Süleyman, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Kanuni-Sultan Süleyman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anibal Cordoba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Grzegorz Sitko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddie Hultman in the 20th minute of play. In the 29th minute, David Bartoleme left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Red City Marrakech fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Eddie Hultman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Grzegorz Sitko made a huge save. Anibal Cordoba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kanuni-Sultan Süleyman, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Luis Azubeli made in the 36th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Tommy Freitag however managed to control. Anibal Cordoba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kanuni-Sultan Süleyman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when David Bartoleme made the kick off in the second half. David Bartoleme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tiburones's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. David Bartoleme was slow to take the kick. During this time Red City Marrakech's players had a chance to rest. If Kanuni-Sultan Süleyman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Bartoleme during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Tiburones booed when Red City Marrakech was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Bartoleme didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute, Luis Honrio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kanuni-Sultan Süleyman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anibal Cordoba having to make a save. Anibal Cordoba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kanuni-Sultan Süleyman in the 74th minute of the match. Kanuni-Sultan Süleyman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Anibal Cordoba made a huge save. Anibal Cordoba made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when David Bartoleme sent off a good shot on target. David Bartoleme kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 80thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Tiburones's keeper Anibal Cordoba was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Grzegorz Sitko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Benvido in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Bartoleme in the 85th minute of play forced Tiburones's goalkeeper Anibal Cordoba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Tiburones's Anibal Cordoba got control of the ball when David Bartoleme tried to sneak it across the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
