Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eddie Hultman to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Tiburones's Eddie Hultman got a free kick in the 50th minute. Anibal Cordoba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robustiano Geofredo in the 51st minute of the match. If Adan Taurino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
