Aves Negras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guter Tobia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michal Stehno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Unidad de Matanza's Venancio Cristofol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Unidad de Matanza from getting a goal against them. The Unidad de Matanza fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Aves Negras's Marcial Bakar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michal Stehno in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute, Michal Stehno made a precise shot to the right of Marcial Bakar. Aves Negras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Michal Stehno to make the kick off. Marcial Bakar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Unidad de Matanza's Lotfi Ziadi was substituted for Michal Stehno. In the 76th match minute, Aves Negras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jurand Banas to maneuver through the defense. Aves Negras made a substitution. Unidad de Matanza's attentive Freddy Quintyn managed to snatch the ball when Marten Descamps made a throw-in in the 95th minute of the game. After 97 minutes, Freddy Quintyn mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Unidad de Matanza and the Aves Negras players grew even worse after the yellow card.

The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Unidad de Matanza walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
