Charly Zitte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julien Ljucovic's late challenge caught a Defrou FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julien Ljucovic helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Haddenberg FS's Julien Ljucovic got a free kick in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Renaudin in the 11th minute of play forced Haddenberg FS's goalkeeper Zenobio Krebs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Valentin Renaudin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valentin Renaudin in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zenobio Krebs saved Haddenberg FS from getting behind. In the 21st minute, Marc Godier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the game, Adil Bleck threw the ball into play from the sideline. Defrou FC's Ilan Sonzogni quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Mario Steinmetz was a little too slow when Arnulf Fritzsche got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 1-0. 32 minutes into the match, Haddenberg FS's goal looked a bit too open when Charly Zitte came free, but Zenobio Krebs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Metzner in the 34th minute of play forced Defrou FC's goalkeeper Mario Steinmetz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niclas Bankesch charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niclas Bankesch the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of Haddenberg FS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Defrou FC:s goal. Zenobio Krebs had in the 40thth minute some difficulties stopping Valentin Renaudin's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 46th minute, Valentin Renaudin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arnulf Fritzsche to strike the kick off in the second half. Arnulf Fritzsche recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Haddenberg FS's Zenobio Krebs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Renaudin in the 56th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Charly Zitte made a precise shot to the right of Zenobio Krebs. Haddenberg FS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 64 minutes into the match, Haddenberg FS's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Renaudin came free, but Zenobio Krebs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valentin Renaudin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Zenobio Krebs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Defrou FC's Charly Zitte ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zenobio Krebs. Zenobio Krebs yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. After having played for 76 minutes, Arnulf Fritzsche managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Haddenberg FS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnulf Fritzsche was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Haddenberg FS's Zenobio Krebs got control of the ball when John-Paul Lecanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Zenobio Krebs successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 81st minute, Reno Reineke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnulf Fritzsche in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mario Steinmetz saved Defrou FC from getting behind. Valentin Renaudin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Zenobio Krebs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Valentin Renaudin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Defrou FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
