The supporters of Mackis BK booed when Millonarios was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabricio James didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Millonarios's Atilano Matteo got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 6th minute of the match Elof Vibjörnsson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lajos Toldi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ronny Dahlberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Melchor Gorosti went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Pär Pååk hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Flavio Phelipe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ronny Dahlberg having to make a save. Ronny Dahlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atilano Matteo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Mackis BK getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Bo Kling hit a great ball. After having played for 30 minutes, Carmelo Berenguer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Millonarios's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carmelo Berenguer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Oliver Mellbad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35thth minute of the game Augusto Froila who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mackis BK's Ronny Dahlberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Atilano Matteo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 43 played minutes Millonarios got a freekick which was hit by Aldo De la Fuente. In the 44th minute of the match Elof Vibjörnsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lajos Toldi skillfully saved the ball. Augusto Froila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Flavio Phelipe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th play minute Oliver Mellbad came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lajos Toldi. 1-1. After a rather tough play, Millonarios's Atilano Matteo got a free kick in the 56th minute. A hard shot by Elof Vibjörnsson from long distance, 57 minutes into the match, got Lajos Toldi's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 59th minute, Flavio Phelipe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Millonarios fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Ronny Dahlberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Phelipe in the 62nd minute of play. When Gottfrid Josefsson fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mackis BK's protests and gave Gottfrid Josefsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th minute, Elof Vibjörnsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 67th play minutes Elias Abancens shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Ronny Dahlberg and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, Mackis BK's Bo Kling got a free kick in the 77th minute. Carmelo Berenguer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Mackis BK's Oliver Mellbad got a free kick in the 84th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Oliver Mellbad could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Lajos Toldi however easily saved by the left post. 94 minutes into the game, Daniel Telin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mackis BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Millonarios the free kick. Daniel Telin hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the Millonarios players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
