Moco SS's Nelsinho Machado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Abancens in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Augusto Froila dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nelsinho Machado, 4-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Melchor Gorosti got free with Nelsinho Machado in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nelsinho Machado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Herminio Remicio in the 27th minute. Millonarios's Aldo De la Fuente was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 38th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 43rd minute, Flavio Phelipe made a precise shot to the right of Nelsinho Machado. Moco SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0.
