Hílton Munhoz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdülhak Buğra in the 11th minute of play. After 13 played minutes Galo Junior got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Camargo. In the 14th minute, Songurbey Batıhan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abidin Hüryaşar hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Savaşer Tezcan charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Savaşer Tezcan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th minute, Savaşer Tezcan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Amadeu Hoffmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galo Junior's supporters rose to their feet, but Amadeu Hoffmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bican Turhan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21st minute, Sacit Aydınalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amadeu Hoffmann struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Bican Turhan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galo Junior. 40 minutes into the match, BeşiktaşJK's Songurbey Batıhan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hílton Munhoz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Galo Junior's Hílton Munhoz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdülhak Buğra in the 41st minute of play. Hílton Munhoz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Songurbey Batıhan in the 42nd minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, BeşiktaşJK's goal looked a bit too open when David Seco came free, but Bican Turhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 46 minutes, Songurbey Batıhan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BeşiktaşJK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Songurbey Batıhan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abdülhak Buğra to make the kick off. Bican Turhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeu Hoffmann in the 51st minute of play. Amadeu Hoffmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bican Turhan having to interfere. In the 55th minute Abdülhak Buğra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hílton Munhoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Galo Junior's David Seco got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 59 played minutes Galo Junior got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Freire. Songurbey Batıhan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Hílton Munhoz made a huge save. Jairo Freire charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jairo Freire the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bican Turhan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Seco's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. After a rather tough play, BeşiktaşJK's Sacit Aydınalp got a free kick in the 66th minute. After 71 played minutes, Galo Junior's Dário Xavier shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bican Turhan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Galo Junior reached it. Amadeu Hoffmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Bican Turhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bican Turhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeu Hoffmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the BeşiktaşJK defense, Amadeu Hoffmann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bican Turhan. The BeşiktaşJK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bican Turhan should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Galo Junior booed when BeşiktaşJK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Emre İşbilir didn't get a good kick on the ball. When David Seco came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Galo Junior fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Seco couldn't finish the play. After 86 minutes BeşiktaşJK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dinei Reis who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in David Seco almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but BeşiktaşJK's Bican Turhan did a great save. Abdülhak Buğra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in BeşiktaşJK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Galo Junior a penalty, 95 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dinei Reis, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of BeşiktaşJK's Bican Turhan. 2-0.
