Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Terrance Agostino started the match with the kick off. Seth Schulz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sabri Dubray in the 3rd minute of the match. Mario Steinmetz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Terrance Agostino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Sabri Dubray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sabri Dubray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seth Schulz having to interfere. After 26 played minutes Tarboro FC got a freekick which was hit by Virgilio Hoffman. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Terrance Agostino in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mario Steinmetz saved Defrou FC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Sabri Dubray managed to get in a good position for a shot. Defrou FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sabri Dubray was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Seth Schulz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 36th minute, Tarboro FC's Terrance Agostino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, John-Paul Lecanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Defrou FC's supporters rose to their feet, but John-Paul Lecanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Seth Schulz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th match minute, Defrou FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc Godier to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
After 54 minutes, Emerson Cervantes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tarboro FC and the Defrou FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Seth Schulz had in the 55thth minute some difficulties stopping Philippe Tiercelin's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 59th minute, Charly Zitte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mario Steinmetz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Terrance Agostino in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th match minute, Tarboro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Terrance Agostino to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the match, Tarboro FC's goalkeeper Seth Schulz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by John-Paul Lecanu. Mario Steinmetz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Terrance Agostino in the 74th minute of play. Marc Godier made in the 77th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Tarboro FC's Juan Dodge. Monte Padilla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mario Steinmetz having to make a save. A collision led to Defrou FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Sabri Dubray hit a great ball. Defrou FC's Mario Steinmetz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Terrance Agostino in the 94th minute of play. A collision led to Defrou FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Eden Loison hit a great ball. In the 98th minute of the match Monte Padilla sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mario Steinmetz skillfully saved the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Tarboro FC had won after a very even match.
