With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl-Magnus Bergman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 12 minutes into the game, one of Tarboro FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Seth Schulz had in the 14thth minute some difficulties stopping Zebastian Ekeberg's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustav Mattsson got free with Seth Schulz in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 18thth minute of the game Tobias Bocklund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tarboro FC's Seth Schulz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tarboro FC's attentive Juan Dodge managed to snatch the ball when Adrian Håkansson made a throw-in in the 21st minute of the game. Terrance Agostino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl-Magnus Bergman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Monte Padilla went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 27th minute, Anton Calhoun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Terrance Agostino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Ljungaverk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tobias Bocklund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Seth Schulz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Tarboro FC's Seth Schulz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Bocklund in the 40th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Terrance Agostino in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. Karl-Magnus Bergman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Terrance Agostino in the 43rd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.
The wind increased when Tobias Bocklund made the kick off in the second half. Tobias Bocklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Ljungaverk's Karl-Magnus Bergman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Terrance Agostino in the 74th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Tarboro FC's Terrance Agostino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karl-Magnus Bergman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Tarboro FC's Terrance Agostino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Karl-Magnus Bergman. That made the score 1-6 after 79 minutes of play. Karl-Magnus Bergman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Terrance Agostino in the 82nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Terrance Agostino in the 84th minute of play forced Ljungaverk's goalkeeper Karl-Magnus Bergman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tarboro FC's Juan Dodge quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Adam Olofsson, made in the 90th minute of the game. If Terrance Agostino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Virgilio Hoffman during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Tarboro FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Virgilio Hoffman hit a great ball. The Ljungaverk fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Tarboro FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
