Esbjörn Alström came out of the goal and Augusto Froila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Gästrike-hammarby's Wiktor Fribäck got a free kick in the 8th minute. Augusto Froila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esbjörn Alström having to interfere. If Flavio Phelipe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gästrike-hammarby's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Flavio Phelipe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 41 minutes into the game, Millonarios's Elias Abancens nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Esbjörn Alström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4.

Esbjörn Alström came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Millonarios's Flavio Phelipe. But to his dismay, Flavio Phelipe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Flavio Phelipe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Esbjörn Alström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flavio Phelipe who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Esbjörn Alström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Flavio Phelipe did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-6 to the left of a surprised Esbjörn Alström 58 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute, Millonarios's Augusto Froila ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Esbjörn Alström. Esbjörn Alström yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. Augusto Froila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Esbjörn Alström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Josef Askstedt fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gästrike-hammarby's protests and gave Josef Askstedt a yellow card for diving instead. Josef Askstedt hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 74thth minute of the game Konrad Tidéksson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Millonarios's Higinio Reno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 80th minute, Konrad Tidéksson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Esbjörn Alström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flavio Phelipe in the 83rd minute. After a rather tough play, Millonarios's Leopoldo Vidal got a free kick in the 86th minute. If Konrad Tidéksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Millonarios left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gästrike-hammarby.
