Carlos Eduardo de Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Jan Stålman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nelsinho Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Åberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roknäs's Jan Persson got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th match minute, Moco SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hílton de Salles to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, Moco SS's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Åberg came free, but Nelsinho Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Pedro Luiz Aparecido fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Moco SS's protests and gave Pedro Luiz Aparecido a yellow card for diving instead. Pedro Luiz Aparecido hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. José Maria Trancoso lost his temper 31 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave Roknäs a penalty, 33 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Birger Björling, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Moco SS's Nelsinho Machado. 0-1. In the 36th match minute, Roknäs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hubert Tingberg to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Eduardo de Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Stålman having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Hílton de Salles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Eduardo de Barros to make the kick off. Hubert Tingberg's late challenge caught a Moco SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hubert Tingberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 51st minute, Hubert Tingberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moco SS's Válter Xavier couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Roknäs. Carlos Eduardo de Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 55 played minutes Moco SS got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Luiz Aparecido. A collision led to Roknäs getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Simon Åberg hit a great ball. Jan Stålman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hílton de Salles in the 58th minute of play. Carlos Eduardo de Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Jan Stålman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the game, Roknäs's Simon Åberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nelsinho Machado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 72nd minute, Serafim Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the match, Moco SS's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Åberg came free, but Nelsinho Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serafim Lima charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Serafim Lima the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Birger Björling came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Roknäs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Birger Björling couldn't finish the play. Nelsinho Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Åberg in the 79th minute of the match. Jan Persson struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Nelsinho Machado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Roknäs. Carlos Eduardo de Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nelsinho Machado made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Jan Persson sent off a good shot on target. Nelsinho Machado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Åberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute, Robin Vennerberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nelsinho Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Åberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Roknäs supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Roknäs would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
