After 6 played minutes Kavaklidere FK got a freekick which was hit by Süleyman Şenalp. A collision led to Kavaklidere FK getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Rafettin Reşit hit a great ball. If Aybar Ekiner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aybar Ekiner in the 25th minute of play forced Tärtär's goalkeeper Adışirin Şükürov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Abduläziz Äbhäzov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tärtär fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Adışirin Şükürov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Süleyman Şenalp in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the game, Süleyman Şenalp cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Adışirin Şükürov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arif Bilge Başdaş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abduläziz Äbhäzov in the 37th minute of play. Abdulla Äläsgärov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Süleyman Şenalp's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 45thth minute, Adışirin Şükürov skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Cemalettin Tozan's late challenge caught a Tärtär's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cemalettin Tozan helped the player get up and apologised. Cemalettin Tozan hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Süleyman Şenalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Adışirin Şükürov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Aybar Ekiner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kavaklidere FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Aybar Ekiner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adışirin Şükürov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aybar Ekiner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adışirin Şükürov having to interfere. Adışirin Şükürov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aybar Ekiner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abduläziz Äbhäzov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Süleyman Şenalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st match minute, Kavaklidere FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Okan Enginalp to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the match, Tärtär's Elman Gärayev broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Cemalettin Tozan was shown his second yellow card after 75 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 76 played minutes Kavaklidere FK got a freekick which was hit by Cemalettin Tozan. Tärtär's Elman Gärayev couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 77th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Kavaklidere FK. Barış Öksak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adışirin Şükürov having to interfere. Eldäniz Abuzärov hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After 88 minutes of play, Kavaklidere FK's Süleyman Şenalp made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adışirin Şükürov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Süleyman Şenalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the game, Kavaklidere FK's Süleyman Şenalp nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adışirin Şükürov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2.
