After some careless play in the Gästrike-hammarby defense, Valentin Renaudin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Esbjörn Alström. The Gästrike-hammarby fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esbjörn Alström should have stopped the shot. Adrian Ahlkvist charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrian Ahlkvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Defrou FC booed when Gästrike-hammarby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Ahlkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Esbjörn Alström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valentin Renaudin went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Mario Steinmetz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konrad Tidéksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mario Steinmetz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konrad Tidéksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Eden Loison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Esbjörn Alström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edvard Axelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Steinmetz having to interfere. After 31 minutes, Ilan Sonzogni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Defrou FC and the Gästrike-hammarby players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Defrou FC's Ilan Sonzogni got a free kick in the 31st minute. Désiré Million kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Mario Steinmetz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josef Askstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After the first half Defrou FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Konrad Tidéksson to make the kick off. When Josef Askstedt came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Gästrike-hammarby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Josef Askstedt couldn't finish the play. Mario Steinmetz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edvard Axelsson's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Valentin Renaudin took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Esbjörn Alström. Esbjörn Alström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 59th match minute, Defrou FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilan Sonzogni to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Gästrike-hammarby getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Konrad Tidéksson hit a great ball. Esbjörn Alström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Renaudin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Josef Askstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Valentin Renaudin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Defrou FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentin Renaudin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esbjörn Alström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. John-Paul Lecanu took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Esbjörn Alström. Esbjörn Alström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Gästrike-hammarby's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Valentin Renaudin scored to the left of an out of position Esbjörn Alström, making the score, 0-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konrad Tidéksson in the 86th minute of play forced Defrou FC's goalkeeper Mario Steinmetz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valentin Renaudin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esbjörn Alström having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Valentin Renaudin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Gästrike-hammarby fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Defrou FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
