The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Moco SS booed when Gästrike-hammarby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konrad Nyström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute, Konrad Tidéksson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Gästrike-hammarby's zone, Marcelo Zonta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esbjörn Alström came out of the goal and Marcelo Zonta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 12 minutes into the game, Kauã Esteves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moco SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gästrike-hammarby the free kick. Kauã Esteves hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 15th match minute, Gästrike-hammarby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josef Askstedt to maneuver through the defense. Moco SS's João Vítor Ortiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvard Axelsson in the 19th minute of play. Ronaldinho Peixoto kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Marcelo Zonta notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Gästrike-hammarby's Esbjörn Alström. Esbjörn Alström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nelson Mendes's late challenge caught a Gästrike-hammarby's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esbjörn Alström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 42ndth minute of the game Edvard Axelsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Moco SS's João Vítor Ortiz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Moco SS getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Kauã Esteves hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Konrad Tidéksson was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Konrad Tidéksson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gästrike-hammarby's supporters rose to their feet, but Konrad Tidéksson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Vítor Ortiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. João Vítor Ortiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konrad Tidéksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Marcelo Zonta sped through Gästrike-hammarby's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Esbjörn Alström. Nelson Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esbjörn Alström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. In the 92nd minute Marcelo Zonta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esbjörn Alström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Moco SS fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gästrike-hammarby had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
