Dewa Budjana made in the 31st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's James Bom. After a defensive mix-up in Bleber FC's zone, Alvaro Ramiréz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charis Panaretos came out of the goal and Alvaro Ramiréz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Charis Panaretos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thibaut Vandamme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aras Tanujaya in the 44th minute of play. After some careless play in the Bleber FC defense, Juli Alvarez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Charis Panaretos. The Bleber FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Charis Panaretos should have stopped the shot. Bleber FC's Ronaldo Fenomeno was substituted for Nicodemo Saravia. Bleber FC made a substitution. Umar Suryana replaced Lionel Soulas. If Ronaldo Fenomeno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ronaldo Fenomeno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Thibaut Vandamme made a huge save. 85 minutes into the match, Bleber FC's goal looked a bit too open when Juli Alvarez came free, but Charis Panaretos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 90 minutes, Jaime Pontes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bleber FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Pontes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 93 minutes into the game, Bleber FC's Ronaldo Fenomeno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thibaut Vandamme made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Berenjenas de Punto Fijo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bleber FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
