When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Leandro Heidemann sped through FC ANC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Martin Tudor. In the 28thth minute of the game Leandro Heidemann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC ANC's Martin Tudor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Artemio Quiroga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Téo Leite made a huge save. Martin Tudor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Heidemann in the 32nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC ANC's zone, Wilbert Ugalde stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Tudor came out of the goal and Wilbert Ugalde tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to FC ANC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Marc-André Wedekind hit a great ball. Attila Kiss took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Martin Tudor. FC ANC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Måns Kjellman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Téo Leite made a huge save. Martin Tudor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Heidemann in the 42nd minute of the match. Leandro Heidemann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Tudor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, Alvi Verde's Wilbert Ugalde got a free kick in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Måns Kjellman in the 75th minute of play forced Alvi Verde's goalkeeper Téo Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Leandro Heidemann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alvi Verde's supporters rose to their feet, but Leandro Heidemann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Tudor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
