With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jakob Varm prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in FC Special 1807's zone, Olivier Gilg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jakob Varm came out of the goal and Olivier Gilg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jakob Varm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Lopes in the 32nd minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, FC Special 1807's Aron Saamatu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chico Donato narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jakob Varm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olivier Gilg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ain Moorits's late challenge caught a DIPLOMATA FC PAB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. FC Special 1807's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Olivier Gilg scored to the left of an out of position Jakob Varm, making the score, 1-1. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, FC Special 1807's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Lopes came free, but Jakob Varm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
