Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sandu Cenușă started the match with the kick off. Cláudio-André Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Alexandersen, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in TR - UYANIŞ KIZILELMA -'s zone, Sebastian Percival stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cláudio-André Taffarel came out of the goal and Sebastian Percival tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sandu Cenușă could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Dušan Ančic made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Sandu Cenușă's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dušan Ančic was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. With his leg Dušan Ančic managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when TR - UYANIŞ KIZILELMA -'s Sandu Cenușă fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. TR - UYANIŞ KIZILELMA -'s Cláudio-André Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Spike Foley in the 14th minute of play. Sandu Cenușă who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Dušan Ančic when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Devon Howson hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. TR - UYANIŞ KIZILELMA -'s Cláudio-André Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Eufemio in the 22nd minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Sandu Cenușă cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Dušan Ančic was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Percival in the 40th minute of play forced TR - UYANIŞ KIZILELMA -'s goalkeeper Cláudio-André Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Spike Foley kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Club Atlético de Newell's Dušan Ančic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandu Cenușă in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sebastian Percival to strike the kick off in the second half. Cláudio-André Taffarel came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético de Newell's Spike Foley. But to his dismay, Spike Foley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Dušan Ančic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandu Cenușă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute, Spike Foley reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cláudio-André Taffarel. The goal made the score 1-2. 60 minutes into the match, TR - UYANIŞ KIZILELMA -'s goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Percival came free, but Cláudio-André Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When TR - UYANIŞ KIZILELMA -'s Sandu Cenușă in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Atlético de Newell's goalie prevented a goal. Hugo Alexandersen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cosmin Cluceru kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. When Sebastian Percival came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Club Atlético de Newell fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Percival couldn't finish the play. After 72 played minutes TR - UYANIŞ KIZILELMA - got a freekick which was hit by Arno Jahe. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hugo Alexandersen in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cláudio-André Taffarel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dušan Ančic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arno Jahe in the 75th minute of play. After a rather tough play, TR - UYANIŞ KIZILELMA -'s Çelik Özdoğan got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Dušan Ančic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandu Cenușă in the 87th minute of the match. Devon Howson thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Dušan Ančic, a very annoying self made goal in the 90th minute which led to 2-2. Cláudio-André Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Spike Foley in the 94th minute of play. Cláudio-André Taffarel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugo Alexandersen in the 95th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
