The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. San Mauro A Mare FC's Rogério Mitovski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Raymundo in the 2nd minute of play. Rogério Mitovski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Raymundo in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute Leonard Treppa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Mitovski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rogério Mitovski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonatan Raymundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Levent Hicran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kamal Pahlevi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. With a little luck, Tirant lo Blanch's Kamal Pahlevi got control of the ball when Marcus Hastings tried to sneak it across the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, San Mauro A Mare FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonatan Raymundo came free, but Rogério Mitovski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rogério Mitovski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pitin Vallejo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fan Liang Chong made in the 37th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Tirant lo Blanch's Anthimos Kapsis. Levent Hicran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Kamal Pahlevi made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Levent Hicran in the 43rd minute of play forced Tirant lo Blanch's goalkeeper Kamal Pahlevi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guaberto Rocio kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Kamal Pahlevi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Levent Hicran, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Levent Hicran scored 1-0 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kamal Pahlevi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 65 minutes into the match, San Mauro A Mare FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonatan Raymundo came free, but Rogério Mitovski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Levent Hicran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. San Mauro A Mare FC's Alex Orsi was substituted for Levent Hicran. In the 75th minute Alex Orsi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kamal Pahlevi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tirant lo Blanch's Jefferson Pinheiro was substituted for García Diez. Tirant lo Blanch's Carmen Paniagua was substituted for Leonard Treppa. Vicente Rodríguez kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 83rd minute Augusto Graziani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kamal Pahlevi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute Alex Orsi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kamal Pahlevi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Tirant lo Blanch's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Orsi came free, but Kamal Pahlevi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carmen Paniagua got free with Rogério Mitovski in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tirant lo Blanch's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pitin Vallejo in the 94th minute. The corner led Tirant lo Blanch's Pitin Vallejo to fire away a dangerous shot which Rogério Mitovski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The San Mauro A Mare FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tirant lo Blanch had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
