Martyon Diehl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ove Salkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Ove Salkvist was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fidel Veronica stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. BK Gubbhöft's Fidel Veronica got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peng Qi Chong got free with Isaac Jonasson in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Astreix&ObelixSoccer defense, Ove Salkvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martyon Diehl. The Astreix&ObelixSoccer fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martyon Diehl should have stopped the shot. Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Dave Di Gregorio was substituted for Peng Qi Chong. But to his dismay, Hans-Georg Luabunnum quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 91 minutes into the match, Hans-Georg Luabunnum had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Martyon Diehl. Astreix&ObelixSoccer's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hans-Georg Luabunnum was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The supporters of BK Gubbhöft booed when Astreix&ObelixSoccer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sacha Lilley didn't get a good kick on the ball. BK Gubbhöft's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
