Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Inocencio Tarresola kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Roman Gdaniec notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Azulgranas's Łukasz Fabiański. Łukasz Fabiański was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Roman Gdaniec blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Łukasz Fabiański having to make a save. 11 minutes into the match, Azulgranas's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Gdaniec came free, but Łukasz Fabiański reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Girona FC's Roman Gdaniec sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Łukasz Fabiański narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Łukasz Fabiański came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Girona FC's Roman Gdaniec. But to his dismay, Roman Gdaniec quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Łukasz Fabiański showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Gdaniec, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After having played for 26 minutes, Roman Gdaniec managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Girona FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roman Gdaniec was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Łukasz Fabiański didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roman Gdaniec went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. The throw-in from Vasco Cuezba in the 31st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Girona FC's José Gonçalves. 35 minutes into the game, Roman Gdaniec cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Łukasz Fabiański was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Everardo Atauri to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Everardo Atauri rounded Azulgranas's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-8. 56 minutes into the match, Everardo Atauri notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of Azulgranas's Łukasz Fabiański. Łukasz Fabiański was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Azulgranas's Ulises Terroba was substituted for Inocencio Tarresola. Girona FC made a substitution. Alfonso De Pedro replaced Berkay Yetiş. In the 61st minute Ulises Terroba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Aveiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulises Terroba in the 62nd minute of play forced Girona FC's goalkeeper Cristiano Aveiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristiano Aveiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulises Terroba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Azulgranas's Łukasz Fabiański played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everardo Atauri in the 63rd minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Azulgranas's goalkeeper Łukasz Fabiański had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Everardo Atauri. 67 minutes into the match, Girona FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dani Fase came free, but Cristiano Aveiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75thth minute Vasco Cuezba easily got through Girona FC's defense and fired away a shot, but Cristiano Aveiro leaped left and performed a fabulous save. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Girona FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Geovanny Sabugo was slow to take the kick. During this time Azulgranas's players had a chance to rest. Geovanny Sabugo made a great header on Azulgranas's corner, it was just that Girona FC's Cristiano Aveiro managed to reach the ball for a save. Vasco Cuezba made in the 78th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Girona FC's José Gonçalves. 83 minutes into the match, Azulgranas's goal looked a bit too open when Everardo Atauri came free, but Łukasz Fabiański reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Łukasz Fabiański made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Everardo Atauri sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Girona FC's Everardo Atauri slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Łukasz Fabiański. That made the score 0-11 after 86 minutes of play. Vasco Cuezba kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. When Girona FC's Everardo Atauri in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Azulgranas's goalie prevented a goal. Łukasz Fabiański showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Everardo Atauri, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. In the 98th minute Girona FC were awarded a corner. Iván Salgado went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Girona FC's corner Iván Salgado fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Łukasz Fabiański quite easily take care of the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Girona FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
