The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5thth minute of the game Liam Bray who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chester City AFC's Emrys Fry was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Chester City AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Liam Bray came free, but Emrys Fry reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chester City AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jonathan Willetts was slow to take the kick. During this time Astreix&ObelixSoccer's players had a chance to rest. If Liam Bray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 10th minute Liam Bray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emrys Fry saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Liam Bray took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emrys Fry. Emrys Fry dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Emrys Fry didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Liam Bray went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Chester City AFC defense, Liam Bray kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emrys Fry. The Chester City AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emrys Fry should have stopped the shot. In the 22nd minute, Liam Bray ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emrys Fry was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Liam Bray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Astreix&ObelixSoccer fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Liam Bray looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 29 minutes, Liam Bray made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Chester City AFC's Emrys Fry tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 37 played minutes Chester City AFC got a freekick which was hit by Owein Lydiican. Emrys Fry took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liam Bray, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

After 51 played minutes Chester City AFC got a freekick which was hit by Peissawg Francis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liam Bray in the 52nd minute of play forced Chester City AFC's goalkeeper Emrys Fry to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Liam Bray might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emrys Fry. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Liam Bray ran back to his position shaking his head. Liam Bray could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Emrys Fry made a huge save. 55 minutes into the game, Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Liam Bray nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emrys Fry made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. Astreix&ObelixSoccer made a substitution. Dave Di Gregorio replaced Liam Bray. If Dave Di Gregorio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 63rd minute, Dave Di Gregorio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Astreix&ObelixSoccer fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. Dave Di Gregorio scored 0-10 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emrys Fry, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 72 played minutes Astreix&ObelixSoccer got a freekick which was hit by Sacha Lilley. In the 74th minute, Dave Di Gregorio made a precise shot to the right of Emrys Fry. Chester City AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-11. Dave Di Gregorio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emrys Fry read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Goreu Fergus kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dave Di Gregorio got free with Emrys Fry in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Dave Di Gregorio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Dave Di Gregorio took a quick shot and it went in 0-13 without a chance for Emrys Fry to make any attempt to save it. Astreix&ObelixSoccer played a much better game than Chester City AFC and deserved their victory. The Chester City AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
