The audience thought a goal was coming when Norbert Cadart got free with Cyryl Szpakowski in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 21st minute, Dobromir Gleba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute of the match, Léon Monnet got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cyryl Szpakowski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Glyn Styles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ludomil Kajdasz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. In the 38th minute Glyn Styles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludomil Kajdasz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ludomil Kajdasz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Glyn Styles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Glyn Styles blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ludomil Kajdasz having to make a save. Herblay's Ludomil Kajdasz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glyn Styles in the 70th minute of play. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by mt93 Tarnów's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dimitri Bougault was slow to take the kick. During this time Herblay's players had a chance to rest.
