Japke Verbeek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Wiliam Carioca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Japke Verbeek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primo Sans in the 7th minute of the match. Japke Verbeek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primo Sans in the 13th minute of play. Academia B.F.'s Primo Sans got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the game, Academia B.F.'s Primo Sans nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Japke Verbeek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Springplank FC's Japke Verbeek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primo Sans in the 25th minute of play. Wiliam Carioca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Japke Verbeek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Primo Sans blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Japke Verbeek having to make a save. 29 minutes into the match, Springplank FC's goal looked a bit too open when Primo Sans came free, but Japke Verbeek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Primo Sans sped through Springplank FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Japke Verbeek. Japke Verbeek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primo Sans, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Wiliam Carioca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Japke Verbeek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute Primo Sans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Japke Verbeek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Primo Sans to make the kick off. Japke Verbeek stood somewhat misplaced when Primo Sans came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 52 minute. In the 57th minute, Academia B.F.'s Primo Sans ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Japke Verbeek. Japke Verbeek yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zachary Mentus in the 62nd minute of play forced Springplank FC's goalkeeper Japke Verbeek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Springplank FC's goalkeeper Japke Verbeek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Primo Sans. If Primo Sans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Primo Sans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Japke Verbeek made a huge save. Academia B.F. made a substitution. João Francisco Fontes replaced Wiliam Carioca. Academia B.F. made a substitution. Lauro Quirino replaced Gustavo Martins. Academia B.F.'s Michel Totti was substituted for Primo Sans. Michel Totti succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 75th playminute. Japke Verbeek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michel Totti in the 78th minute. In the 82nd minute, Academia B.F.'s Michel Totti dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. Michel Totti received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Japke Verbeek came out and tried to block the shot, but Michel Totti slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 86th minute. Michel Totti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Japke Verbeek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Academia B.F. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Springplank FC.
