Alessio Punta's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 8thth minute, Dave Rinaldi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 13th minute, Alessio Punta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dave Rinaldi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, Juventus F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Fabien Cantin came free, but Eugenio Lorenzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Isias hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Elegance Dijon's Dave Rinaldi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessio Punta in the 23rd minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Juventus F.C.'s Alessio Punta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After 46 played minutes Juventus F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Louis Tomlinson. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabien Cantin to strike the kick off in the second half. Elegance Dijon's Dave Rinaldi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlo Montanari in the 52nd minute of play. Christian Minaud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Daryl Douville made in the 90th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Eddy Brayer however managed to control. Eugenio Lorenzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabien Cantin, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Juventus F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Elegance Dijon had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
