Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fabien Cantin took the kick off in the first half of the match. The Potters's Wladimir Vinthen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save The Potters from getting a goal against them. Dave Rinaldi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Langoni in the 4th minute of play. Elegance Dijon's Dave Rinaldi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Langoni in the 11th minute of play. The Potters's Wladimir Vinthen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save The Potters from getting a goal against them. In the 14th minute, Tommy Rueløkke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute of the match, Fabien Cantin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Wladimir Vinthen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 18th minute, Elegance Dijon's Christian Minaud dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Dave Rinaldi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Langoni in the 21st minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 23 minutes into the game, when Thierry Agnel put in a rough tackle. Dave Rinaldi had in the 24thth minute some difficulties stopping Luca Langoni's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Luca Langoni had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dave Rinaldi. Elegance Dijon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luca Langoni was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When Fabien Cantin came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Elegance Dijon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabien Cantin couldn't finish the play. Stéphane Gaudy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th match minute, The Potters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franck Parfelt to maneuver through the defense. Fabien Cantin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wladimir Vinthen having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, The Potters's goal looked a bit too open when Fabien Cantin came free, but Wladimir Vinthen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wladimir Vinthen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabien Cantin in the 46th minute of the match.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luca Langoni to strike the kick off in the second half. Elegance Dijon's Dave Rinaldi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franck Parfelt in the 53rd minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Luca Langoni notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Elegance Dijon's Dave Rinaldi. Dave Rinaldi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Potters's Stephen Schledermann was substituted for Tommy Rueløkke. Dave Rinaldi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertel Methling in the 65th minute of play. Dave Rinaldi came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by The Potters's Bertel Methling. But to his dismay, Bertel Methling quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Fabien Cantin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wladimir Vinthen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th minute Elegance Dijon were awarded a corner. Stéphane Gaudy went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Elegance Dijon's Stéphane Gaudy to fire away a dangerous shot which Wladimir Vinthen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 71 played minutes Elegance Dijon got a freekick which was hit by Mamadou Forte. Stephen Schledermann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dave Rinaldi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franck Parfelt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elegance Dijon's Stéphane Gaudy got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to The Potters getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Paulo Piretti hit a great ball. Dave Rinaldi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franck Parfelt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Potters were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Elegance Dijon's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Stephen Schledermann took the corner. Luca Langoni made a great header on The Potters's corner, it was just that Elegance Dijon's Dave Rinaldi managed to reach the ball for a save. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Luca Langoni sped through Elegance Dijon's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dave Rinaldi. In the 91st minute, Christian Minaud hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the match, The Potters's Stephen Schledermann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dave Rinaldi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Elegance Dijon supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching The Potters's performance. The match ended with a win for The Potters.
