Iwo Tamulewicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Dave Rinaldi made a huge save. Stelian Butuc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stéphane Gaudy in the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Stéphane Gaudy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stelian Butuc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stelian Butuc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabien Cantin, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iwo Tamulewicz in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dave Rinaldi saved Elegance Dijon from getting behind. In the 26th minute Dacians Academy were awarded a corner. Fermin Prejun went to the cornerflag to take it. Stelian Butuc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Minaud, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 35th minute, Mamadou Forte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Fermin Prejun came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Dacians Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fermin Prejun couldn't finish the play. In the 38th minute, Iwo Tamulewicz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dacians Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Dave Rinaldi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manole Anghel in the 40th minute. Dave Rinaldi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iwo Tamulewicz in the 42nd minute of play. When Dacians Academy's Iwo Tamulewicz in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Iwo Tamulewicz ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iwo Tamulewicz in the 55th minute of play forced Elegance Dijon's goalkeeper Dave Rinaldi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daryl Douville made in the 56th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Fabien Cantin however managed to control. With a little luck, Dacians Academy's Stelian Butuc got control of the ball when Christian Minaud tried to sneak it across the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, Daryl Douville threw the ball into play from the sideline. Dacians Academy's Remus Armeanca quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Stelian Butuc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christian Minaud in the 61st minute. The audience was convinced that Iwo Tamulewicz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dave Rinaldi was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. In the 79th minute of the game, Iwo Tamulewicz landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 79 minutes into the game, Mamadou Forte was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Elegance Dijon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dacians Academy the free kick. Dave Rinaldi came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Dacians Academy's Matei Panciu. But to his dismay, Matei Panciu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. 92 minutes into the match, Dacians Academy's goalkeeper Stelian Butuc had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christian Minaud. Many of Elegance Dijon's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Elegance Dijon may have spent more time on the ball, but Dacians Academy were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
