Kacper Tobiass stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mehat Kovaçi's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Kacper Tobiass made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehat Kovaçi in the 9th minute of play. Cougars FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Angel Morales in the 11th minute. Cougars FC's Jannic De Vreese was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kacper Tobiass in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 12 minutes into the game, Cougars FC's Mehat Kovaçi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kacper Tobiass made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Mehat Kovaçi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 15 minutes into the match, LUZ SS's goal looked a bit too open when Mehat Kovaçi came free, but Kacper Tobiass reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kacper Tobiass didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mehat Kovaçi went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the LUZ SS defense, Mehat Kovaçi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kacper Tobiass. The LUZ SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kacper Tobiass should have stopped the shot. Mehat Kovaçi might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kacper Tobiass. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mehat Kovaçi ran back to his position shaking his head. 36 minutes into the match, LUZ SS's goal looked a bit too open when Mehat Kovaçi came free, but Kacper Tobiass reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mehat Kovaçi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kacper Tobiass read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Mehat Kovaçi put it in 1-5 from a short distance just to the right of Kacper Tobiass. In the 46th minute, Mehat Kovaçi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jeremy Coulter was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Ciro Guedes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 55 minutes into the match, LUZ SS's goalkeeper Kacper Tobiass had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mehat Kovaçi. Kacper Tobiass was a little too slow when Mehat Kovaçi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 1-6. LUZ SS's Kacper Tobiass proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save LUZ SS from getting a goal against them. Mehat Kovaçi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kacper Tobiass having to make a save. Mehat Kovaçi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mehat Kovaçi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kacper Tobiass came out and tried to block the shot, but Mehat Kovaçi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-7 in the 67th minute. Mehat Kovaçi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kacper Tobiass having to interfere. Cougars FC made a substitution. Steffen Gimlinge replaced Mehat Kovaçi. Kacper Tobiass made an important save on a dangerous shot by Steffen Gimlinge in the 73rd minute. 75 minutes into the match, LUZ SS's goalkeeper Kacper Tobiass had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Steffen Gimlinge. Kacper Tobiass showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steffen Gimlinge in the 76th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Steffen Gimlinge dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kacper Tobiass, 1-8. 82 minutes into the match, Cougars FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Guedes came free, but Arnoud de Pelsmakere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Cougars FC's Steffen Gimlinge nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kacper Tobiass made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-9. In the 86th minute Angel Morales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kacper Tobiass saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Angel Morales notched a goal, 1-10, to the right of LUZ SS's Kacper Tobiass. Kacper Tobiass was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Steffen Gimlinge got free with Kacper Tobiass in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Steffen Gimlinge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Cougars FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cougars FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
