Slawomir Brysz started the match with the kick off. Cveto Novinec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Chap in the 4th minute of play. Gilberto Nayely sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 10 minutes, David Mantu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Koper and the Punk Fiction players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th match minute, FC Koper was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Mantu to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Koper's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eleuterio Gagriel was slow to take the kick. During this time Punk Fiction's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FC Koper's goalie and right to Elpidio Chap. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FC Koper's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After some careless play in the FC Koper defense, Gilberto Nayely kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cveto Novinec. The FC Koper fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cveto Novinec should have stopped the shot. Gilberto Nayely blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cveto Novinec having to make a save. Punk Fiction's Amado Jordão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Punk Fiction from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Gilberto Nayely's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cveto Novinec was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. After some careless play in the FC Koper defense, Gilberto Nayely kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cveto Novinec. The FC Koper fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cveto Novinec should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Nayely in the 31st minute of play forced FC Koper's goalkeeper Cveto Novinec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gilberto Nayely had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mihail Coșereanu in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amado Jordão saved Punk Fiction from getting behind. Mihail Coșereanu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Amado Jordão when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 42nd minute Gilberto Nayely shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cveto Novinec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilberto Nayely in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cveto Novinec prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gilberto Nayely was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Mihail Coșereanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Koper fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. If Gilberto Nayely had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cveto Novinec made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilberto Nayely in the 57th minute. Ladislao Cordarrel charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ladislao Cordarrel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 58th minute, one of FC Koper:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Koper. The goalkeeper, Cveto Novinec, was totally fooled by Punk Fiction's Eleuterio Gagriel, who 60 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 64 minutes into the match, Punk Fiction's Gilberto Nayely sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cveto Novinec narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gilberto Nayely could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Cveto Novinec made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Gilberto Nayely's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cveto Novinec was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Punk Fiction's Amado Jordão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihail Coșereanu in the 69th minute of play. Gilberto Nayely who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Cveto Novinec when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cveto Novinec stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilberto Nayely's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. 85 minutes into the match, Punk Fiction's goal looked a bit too open when Mihail Coșereanu came free, but Amado Jordão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cveto Novinec made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilberto Nayely in the 88th minute. After a rather tough play, Punk Fiction's Eleuterio Gagriel got a free kick in the 89th minute. Amado Jordão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chatziantoniou Xanthos in the 90th minute of play. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by Punk Fiction's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Orlando Sasoin was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Koper's players had a chance to rest. The corner led FC Koper's Orlando Sasoin to fire away a dangerous shot which Amado Jordão despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Punk Fiction walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
