Frits van Loo charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frits van Loo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 6th minute, Frits van Loo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kenneth van der Leegte came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Mamutes EC's Dave Panno. But to his dismay, Dave Panno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Dave Panno scored 0-3 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kenneth van der Leegte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hette van Dijk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kenneth van der Leegte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edu França in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Dave Panno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kenneth van der Leegte was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Dave Panno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kenneth van der Leegte having to make a save. In the 33rd minute, Dave Panno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kenneth van der Leegte was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. The Mamutes EC fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Mamutes EC's Dave Panno looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind SV Wissenkerke's goalkeeper Kenneth van der Leegte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by SV Wissenkerke's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Valério Meireles was slow to take the kick. During this time Mamutes EC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Valério Meireles got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kenneth van der Leegte quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hette van Dijk to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hette van Dijk in the 52nd minute of play forced Mamutes EC's goalkeeper Magno Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dave Panno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kenneth van der Leegte having to make a save. Kenneth van der Leegte didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Mamutes EC's Dave Panno shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-8 in the ordered_time% minute. Dave Panno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenneth van der Leegte having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dave Panno got free with Kenneth van der Leegte in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Dave Panno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kenneth van der Leegte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dave Panno in the 67th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the game, Mamutes EC's Dave Panno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kenneth van der Leegte made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. After 71 minutes of play, Mamutes EC's Dave Panno made it 0-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kenneth van der Leegte was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in SV Wissenkerke's zone, Edu França stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kenneth van der Leegte came out of the goal and Edu França tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dave Panno might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kenneth van der Leegte. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dave Panno ran back to his position shaking his head. Kenneth van der Leegte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dave Panno, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dave Panno in the 88th minute of play forced SV Wissenkerke's goalkeeper Kenneth van der Leegte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Dave Panno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kenneth van der Leegte was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. After 91 minutes, Dave Panno made it 0-12 with a short kick to the right side. SV Wissenkerke's Kenneth van der Leegte tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
