Luca Lechințan started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, PoznanGalaxy's Henning Heringer got control of the ball when Luca Lechințan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lucrețiu Sfetcu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Grommers in the 7th minute of play. Lucrețiu Sfetcu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Grommers, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 20 minutes into the match, 巩翔傲 notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Lucrețiu Sfetcu. Lucrețiu Sfetcu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in PoznanGalaxy's zone, Manuel Tunaru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henning Heringer came out of the goal and Manuel Tunaru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25thth minute of the game Luca Lechințan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PoznanGalaxy's Henning Heringer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Lucrețiu Sfetcu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 巩翔傲 in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute of the match PoznanGalaxy got a corner. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Oalo Kara ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Oalo Kara got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lucrețiu Sfetcu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Costin Malcoci got free with Henning Heringer in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lucrețiu Sfetcu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 巩翔傲, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that 巩翔傲's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucrețiu Sfetcu was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. After 44 minutes, 巩翔傲 made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Lucrețiu Sfetcu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 47th minute Luca Lechințan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henning Heringer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

In the 53rd minute, Stefan Makowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Lucrețiu Sfetcu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt from getting a goal against them. After 57 minutes, Kelly Nicholas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt and the PoznanGalaxy players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lucrețiu Sfetcu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Grommers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to PoznanGalaxy getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Stefan Makowski hit a great ball. Adrian Nasta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Henning Heringer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Silviu Latarețu was substituted for Valer Perișoară. After 71 played minutes FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt got a freekick which was hit by Andrei Brănescu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Grommers in the 72nd minute of play forced FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's goalkeeper Lucrețiu Sfetcu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 巩翔傲 in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucrețiu Sfetcu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's goalkeeper Lucrețiu Sfetcu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 巩翔傲 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucrețiu Sfetcu having to interfere. PoznanGalaxy's Akif Vurgun was substituted for Adam Kremers. Lucrețiu Sfetcu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 巩翔傲 in the 83rd minute of the match. Adrian Nasta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucrețiu Sfetcu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oalo Kara in the 87th minute of play. PoznanGalaxy were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Oalo Kara took the corner. The corner ended in Obbo Tippelt almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Lucrețiu Sfetcu did a great save. Henning Heringer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horia Chioreanu in the 93rd minute of the match. PoznanGalaxy's 巩翔傲 got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched PoznanGalaxy eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
