The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Nafiz Özilter got free with Dino Roberto in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zabal Villanueva in the 11th minute of play forced Bornova's goalkeeper Sonny Alén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Villadeatese FC's goalkeeper Dino Roberto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Yusuf Bahadır Rahmet charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yusuf Bahadır Rahmet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th minute, Yusuf Bahadır Rahmet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bornova's Sonny Alén played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zabal Villanueva in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Nafiz Özilter in the 23rd minute of play forced Villadeatese FC's goalkeeper Dino Roberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kamil Momodu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dino Roberto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Nafiz Özilter's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Villadeatese FC's goalkeeper Dino Roberto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bornova's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fernando Dracena in the 36th minute. The corner led Bornova's Fernando Dracena to fire away a dangerous shot which Dino Roberto despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Kamil Momodu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dino Roberto having to interfere. A collision led to Villadeatese FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Domenico Aloisi hit a great ball. After having played for 44 minutes, Kamil Momodu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bornova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kamil Momodu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sonny Alén came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Villadeatese FC's Dino Gazza. But to his dismay, Dino Gazza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zabal Villanueva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fernando Dracena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Dino Roberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Villadeatese FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Nafiz Özilter came free, but Dino Roberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Bornova getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. 严桦泉 hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Kamil Momodu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dino Roberto was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Dino Roberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Dracena, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute, Ahmet Nafiz Özilter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dino Roberto came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Bornova's Ahmet Nafiz Özilter. But to his dismay, Ahmet Nafiz Özilter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Zabal Villanueva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sonny Alén read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Ahmet Nafiz Özilter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dino Roberto. Villadeatese FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ahmet Nafiz Özilter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Villadeatese FC's Ermanno Testi was substituted for Alvaro Manzi. 92 minutes into the game, Bornova's Kamil Momodu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dino Roberto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1.
