In the 5th minute, Rodrigo Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alvoha FC's Rosendo Eufrasio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kerry Sellers in the 9th minute of play. Rosendo Eufrasio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidney Forbes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Farid Mondragón successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Epifanio Beremundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Farid Mondragón tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kerry Sellers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Farid Mondragón stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodrigo Santos's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Rosendo Eufrasio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xu Yun Quan in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th match minute, Alvoha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Santos to maneuver through the defense. Rosendo Eufrasio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xu Yun Quan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, Epifanio Beremundo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alvoha FC's Rosendo Eufrasio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidney Forbes in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Epifanio Beremundo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rosendo Eufrasio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Marangoni in the 51st minute of play. A collision led to Alvoha FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Alvise Biancone hit a great ball. In the 54th match minute, Alvoha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Lon to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sidney Forbes got free with Rosendo Eufrasio in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xu Yun Quan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rosendo Eufrasio came out and tried to block the shot, but Xu Yun Quan slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 71st minute. With his leg Rosendo Eufrasio managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when C. A. Independiente's Xu Yun Quan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some careless play in the Alvoha FC defense, Sidney Forbes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rosendo Eufrasio. The Alvoha FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rosendo Eufrasio should have stopped the shot. Rosendo Eufrasio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidney Forbes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Independiente's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
