The audience thought a goal was coming when Carolo Eufemio got free with Tony Vanbuyten in the 2nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Angua FC's zone, Jüri Djorkaeff stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ladislao Osasun came out of the goal and Jüri Djorkaeff tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Carolo Eufemio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tony Vanbuyten. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. In the 12th minute Calixto Landoff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Vanbuyten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ladislao Osasun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Güralp Ergüleç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tony Vanbuyten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Lopes in the 15th minute of play. Güralp Ergüleç scored 1-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ladislao Osasun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ladislao Osasun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Jacinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ye Yang Ao in the 23rd minute of play forced Angua FC's goalkeeper Ladislao Osasun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carolo Eufemio scored 2-2 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tony Vanbuyten, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Enrique Jacinto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Portus Ganda's goalkeeper Tony Vanbuyten had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carolo Eufemio. In the 38th minute Enrique Jacinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladislao Osasun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Güralp Ergüleç in the 41st minute of play forced Angua FC's goalkeeper Ladislao Osasun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tony Vanbuyten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calixto Landoff in the 43rd minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carolo Eufemio to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Calixto Landoff notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Portus Ganda's Tony Vanbuyten. Tony Vanbuyten was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ladislao Osasun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Jacinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Portus Ganda were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Angua FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jüri Djorkaeff took the corner. Jüri Djorkaeff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladislao Osasun having to interfere. With a little luck, Angua FC's Ladislao Osasun got control of the ball when Jüri Djorkaeff tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 64th minute Carolo Eufemio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Vanbuyten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ladislao Osasun made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Enrique Jacinto sent off a good shot on target. Ladislao Osasun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Jacinto in the 69th minute of play. In the 72nd minute Enrique Jacinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladislao Osasun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tony Vanbuyten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carolo Eufemio in the 73rd minute of the match. Tony Vanbuyten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Lopes in the 78th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Braulio Lopes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tony Vanbuyten. Portus Ganda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Braulio Lopes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Portus Ganda's Joannes Van De Wijngaert was substituted for Eliseu Tande. Güralp Ergüleç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tony Vanbuyten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Lopes in the 84th minute of play. If Güralp Ergüleç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the game, Angua FC's Carolo Eufemio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tony Vanbuyten made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Angua FC had won after a very even match.
