Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) VfL Wolfsburg's Hannes Ström started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. VfL Wolfsburg's Olle Tunander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Sikström in the 5th minute of play. Sixten Dahlgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Albom in the 6th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adrian Sikström in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olle Tunander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Adrian Sikström sped through VfL Wolfsburg's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Olle Tunander. Viktor Stigsson made in the 26th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Egil Blom however managed to control. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gösta Granberg in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sixten Dahlgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30th minute Adrian Sikström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olle Tunander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olle Tunander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Sikström in the 33rd minute of play. After 34 played minutes VfL Wolfsburg got a freekick which was hit by Yin Bing Ming. Olle Tunander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adrian Sikström's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Olle Tunander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Sikström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adrian Sikström in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olle Tunander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yin Bing Ming kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Adrian Sikström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olle Tunander was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After the first half Frogner were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Olle Tunander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Östen Gunnarsson in the 53rd minute. Sixten Dahlgren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gösta Granberg's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Adrian Sikström in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Olle Tunander, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrian Sikström in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olle Tunander saved VfL Wolfsburg from getting behind. Adrian Sikström came free with the goalkeeper in the 67th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Olle Tunander could save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Frogner's zone, Patrick Albom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sixten Dahlgren came out of the goal and Patrick Albom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, VfL Wolfsburg's Hannes Ström got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Östen Gunnarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frogner made a substitution. Robert Hammarbäck replaced Allan Kilstedt. Carlos Valderrama hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, VfL Wolfsburg's goal looked a bit too open when Egil Blom came free, but Olle Tunander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olle Tunander was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but David Lange showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 92 minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Frogner eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
