The corner led SuRpRiSe's Konstanty Kensicki to fire away a dangerous shot which Jânio Furlan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Lachezar Dzhevov came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Guará FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lachezar Dzhevov couldn't finish the play. Wiliam de Moraes got a throw-in 13 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Erlingur Haaland. Jânio Furlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulryk Chodzinski in the 16th minute of play. Zé Pedro Baiano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Hubert Kostka made a huge save. Santa Jøker scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jânio Furlan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When SuRpRiSe's Santa Jøker in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guará FC's goalie prevented a goal. Jânio Furlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulryk Chodzinski, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. When SuRpRiSe's Ulryk Chodzinski in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Guará FC's Jânio Furlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulryk Chodzinski in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute SuRpRiSe were awarded a corner. Konstanty Kensicki went to the cornerflag to take it. Konstanty Kensicki made a great header on SuRpRiSe's corner, it was just that Guará FC's Jânio Furlan managed to reach the ball for a save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Santa Jøker to strike the kick off in the second half. Guará FC's Jânio Furlan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Guará FC from getting a goal against them. Santa Jøker who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Jânio Furlan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. SuRpRiSe's Hubert Kostka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Pedro Baiano in the 55th minute of play. Jânio Furlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santa Jøker in the 67th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santa Jøker in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jânio Furlan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 72nd minute of the match SuRpRiSe got a corner. Guará FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Konstanty Kensicki ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of SuRpRiSe booed when Guará FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldão Paulista didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jânio Furlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santa Jøker in the 77th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Guará FC defense, Santa Jøker kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jânio Furlan. The Guará FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jânio Furlan should have stopped the shot. SuRpRiSe made a substitution. João Vítor Bittencourt replaced Santa Jøker. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Gabriel Vieira in the 86th minute of play forced SuRpRiSe's goalkeeper Hubert Kostka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute Guará FC were awarded a corner. Tiago Gabriel Vieira went to the cornerflag to take it. Jânio Furlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Vítor Bittencourt in the 91st minute of the match. During the 92nd minute of the match Kristian Beckenbauer completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Kristian Beckenbauer a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Guará FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Kristian Beckenbauer hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute, João Vítor Bittencourt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jânio Furlan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4.
