Steffen Mandl was slow to take the kick. During this time ＫÎＬＬÎＫ's players had a chance to rest. Steffen Mandl made a great header on ＫÎＬＬÎＫ's corner, it was just that Borussia Dortmund's Yao Zhan Sang managed to reach the ball for a save. Niko Gräber blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yao Zhan Sang having to make a save. Yakup Sargut was slow to take the kick. During this time Borussia Dortmund's players had a chance to rest. When Niko Gräber came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the ＫÎＬＬÎＫ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niko Gräber couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Borussia Dortmund's Astor Odol got a free kick in the 21st minute. Niko Gräber's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yao Zhan Sang read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. A collision led to Borussia Dortmund getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Mathias Laborda hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Niko Gräber sped through Borussia Dortmund's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Yao Zhan Sang. Christopher Röske showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltazar Clavijo, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Yao Zhan Sang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Payer in the 40th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fatih-Sultan Mehmet in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christopher Röske prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Niko Gräber's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yao Zhan Sang read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emesto Llames during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 48 minutes into the game, ＫÎＬＬÎＫ's Dominic Reichel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yao Zhan Sang made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Steffen Mandl stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Christopher Röske showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Levander in the 53rd minute of the match. If Tomas Levander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 61 in the game by Fernando Grover from a close distance when the talented Christopher Röske managed to make a qualified save. ＫÎＬＬÎＫ's players were relieved. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernando Grover in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christopher Röske saved ＫÎＬＬÎＫ from getting behind. Yao Zhan Sang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christoph-Felix Räder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, ＫÎＬＬÎＫ's Niko Gräber sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yao Zhan Sang narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 69 played minutes ＫÎＬＬÎＫ got a freekick which was hit by Dominic Reichel. ＫÎＬＬÎＫ made a substitution. Juarês Domingues replaced Niko Gräber. The supporters of Borussia Dortmund booed when ＫÎＬＬÎＫ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dominic Reichel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute Juarês Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yao Zhan Sang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Astor Odol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Christopher Röske made a huge save. Christopher Röske made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fatih-Sultan Mehmet in the 79th minute. Borussia Dortmund's Yao Zhan Sang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominic Reichel in the 80th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Marcel Gâfu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute of the match Yakup Sargut sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christopher Röske skillfully saved the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juarês Domingues in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yao Zhan Sang saved Borussia Dortmund from getting behind. If Tomas Levander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A well-hit corner resulted in Astor Odol heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. When Lefter Oğuzcan fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ＫÎＬＬÎＫ's protests and gave Lefter Oğuzcan a yellow card for diving instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Borussia Dortmund players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for ＫÎＬＬÎＫ.
