FC Kadzidlowen's Youri Maguet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grigoriy Agapov in the 17th minute of play. In the 21st minute, FC Kadzidlowen's Napoleon Sadlowski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The audience was convinced that Denis Lavrentev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Youri Maguet was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Youri Maguet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Bolshakov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A well-hit corner resulted in Grigoriy Agapov heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Denis Lavrentev to strike the kick off in the second half. Nikolay Kovalev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leszek Ewertowski in the 50th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Denis Lavrentev managed to get in a good position for a shot. STORM's supporters rose to their feet, but Denis Lavrentev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Youri Maguet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Grigoriy Agapov hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. STORM's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
