In the 6th minute, Shen Jian Xu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Narciso Eusko managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when STORM's Denis Lavrentev fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Bolshakov in the 10th minute of play forced EC Rodrigus MZ's goalkeeper Narciso Eusko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, EC Rodrigus MZ's Shen Jian Xu got a free kick in the 27th minute. Nikolay Kovalev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Gustavo Trevisan, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Narciso Eusko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Lavrentev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35thth minute of the game Denis Lavrentev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EC Rodrigus MZ's Narciso Eusko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Joélson dos Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Denis Lavrentev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Narciso Eusko was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. In the 61st minute Roman Bolshakov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Eusko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Denis Lavrentev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The STORM fans cheered their team off the field, for while EC Rodrigus MZ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
