The supporters of Almazarrón booed when Arsenal Giulesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marius Macovei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Helmuth Duckadam was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Archibaldo Candamil showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 21 minute of play. Amancio Harroyo kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Atilano Ruisko struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Helmuth Duckadam didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Almazarrón. In the 35th minute of the match, Cedro Bouzon got a very nice opportunity to score, but Helmuth Duckadam was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Helmuth Duckadam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Archibaldo Candamil, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Helmuth Duckadam didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cedro Bouzon went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Arsenal Giulesti's Iurie Ilie was substituted for Augustin Pantilimon. 89 minutes into the game, Vali Barbăsură cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Baudelio Pacheco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice moves Sandu Vasiliu could shoot a difficult shot in the 94th minute, which Baudelio Pacheco however easily saved by the left post. Almazarrón walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
