In the 4th minute, Marius Macovei reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Quillian De Messemaekere. The goal made the score 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marius Macovei in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Quillian De Messemaekere prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, LeRoeulx's Senne Uytterhoeven got a free kick in the 9th minute. Vali Barbăsură received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Quillian De Messemaekere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quillian De Messemaekere made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucrețiu Mihăescu in the 14th minute. Quillian De Messemaekere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marius Macovei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ilie Lazãr made a great header on Arsenal Giulesti's corner, it was just that LeRoeulx's Quillian De Messemaekere managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, Arsenal Giulesti's Vali Barbăsură got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Helmuth Duckadam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artuur Verhengen, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Quillian De Messemaekere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vali Barbăsură in the 29th minute of play. After 30 played minutes LeRoeulx got a freekick which was hit by Artuur Verhengen. Arsenal Giulesti's Ilie Lazãr couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 31st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for LeRoeulx. Brian Van Eynde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Helmuth Duckadam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute Brian Van Eynde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helmuth Duckadam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quillian De Messemaekere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marius Macovei in the 39th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Arsenal Giulesti's Lucrețiu Mihăescu got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 47th minute, Arsenal Giulesti's Marius Macovei dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marius Macovei to make the kick off. Lucrețiu Mihăescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. With a little luck, Arsenal Giulesti's Helmuth Duckadam got control of the ball when Artuur Verhengen tried to sneak it across the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, Arsenal Giulesti's Vali Barbăsură nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Quillian De Messemaekere made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. 67 minutes into the match, Arsenal Giulesti's goalkeeper Helmuth Duckadam had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brian Van Eynde. In the 72nd match minute, LeRoeulx was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremy Coremans to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the match, LeRoeulx's goal looked a bit too open when Marius Macovei came free, but Quillian De Messemaekere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeremy Coremans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Helmuth Duckadam made a huge save. In the 77th match minute, Arsenal Giulesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucrețiu Mihăescu to maneuver through the defense. After 82 minutes of play, Arsenal Giulesti's Petre Zbârciog made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Quillian De Messemaekere was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arsenal Giulesti were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of LeRoeulx for a fine match.
