After 10 played minutes Inter Miami CF got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Xacintu. Teo Pacorro was a little too slow when Frédson Freddie got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-0. Inter Miami CF's Teo Pacorro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zülfü Yalazay in the 15th minute of play. When Juan Raúl Riquelme came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Inter Miami CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Raúl Riquelme couldn't finish the play. If Zülfü Yalazay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When NoWayOut's Zülfü Yalazay in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Inter Miami CF's goalie prevented a goal. Amado Muc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ergün Şener having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Xie Sheng Yan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zülfü Yalazay to strike the kick off in the second half. Tobias Xacintu hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Teo Pacorro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascal Klingen in the 58th minute of the match. Amado Muc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st match minute, Inter Miami CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Xacintu to maneuver through the defense. Teo Pacorro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zülfü Yalazay, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 80th minute of the match NoWayOut got a corner. Inter Miami CF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. In the 86th minute Zülfü Yalazay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo Pacorro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frédson Freddie took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teo Pacorro. Xie Sheng Yan charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xie Sheng Yan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Inter Miami CF booed when NoWayOut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xie Sheng Yan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zülfü Yalazay scored 3-1 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teo Pacorro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
