Daniel Hanot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emerson Sheikh, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The nice shot from Epifanio Gagriel in the 32ndth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Anísio Aparecido had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. União dos 7 FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damaso Sotero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. There was no doubt that Furia Calamar were the better team. Furia Calamar's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
