The audience thought a goal was coming when Ksawery Gongola got free with Marcos Ranolfo in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Estudiantes de América's Marcos Ranolfo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Craandijk in the 26th minute of play. Leon Craandijk didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 26th minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Leon Craandijk ran dejectedly back to his position. In the last second Marcos Ranolfo throw himself and got hold of the ball when Leon Craandijk in the 26thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. A throw-in in the 28th minute of the game was made by Fabio Botello with Pepijn Hummel as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. FFC Merainies 03 were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Estudiantes de América's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jörgen Kjellqvist took the corner. The corner ended in Andre Genkenaar almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Estudiantes de América's Marcos Ranolfo did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pepijn Hummel in the 35th minute of play forced Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Marcos Ranolfo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Marcos Ranolfo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ksawery Gongola. Marcos Ranolfo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FFC Merainies 03's Gertjan Engbers was substituted for Jörgen Kjellqvist. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Craandijk in the 65th minute of play forced Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Marcos Ranolfo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th match minute, FFC Merainies 03 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andre Genkenaar to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Traian Blăniță managed to get in a good position for a shot. But to his dismay, Leon Craandijk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The audience was convinced that Ksawery Gongola's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcos Ranolfo was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in FFC Merainies 03's zone, Korneliusz Miodek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu came out of the goal and Korneliusz Miodek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Estudiantes de América's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Traian Blăniță in the 77th minute. Andre Genkenaar tried in the game's 77th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu. An annoying self made goal, 3-1. In the 83rd minute, Traian Blăniță made a precise shot to the right of Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu. FFC Merainies 03's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Orlando Beltza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Traian Blăniță in the 88th minute of play forced FFC Merainies 03's goalkeeper Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
