In the 3rd minute Jacek Gotfryd suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 3 minutes, Dinei Lago mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C Fribourg and the Kukova United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 2nd minute, one of F.C Fribourg:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for F.C Fribourg. In the 5th minute there was a penalty for Kukova United. Olof Wiberg stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Durval Araújo. 0-1. Simon Manex made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joélson Saldanha in the 8th minute. Durval Araújo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olof Wiberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After some careless play in the F.C Fribourg defense, Erik Malý kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Durval Araújo. The F.C Fribourg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Durval Araújo should have stopped the shot. 16 minutes into the match, Lennart Albom had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Durval Araújo. F.C Fribourg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lennart Albom was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 19thth minute of the game Olof Wiberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but F.C Fribourg's Durval Araújo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Durval Araújo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Malý in the 24th minute of play. Daniel Ftáčnik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31st minute, Olof Wiberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Durval Araújo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After 34th play minutes Martin Ješo shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Durval Araújo and just under the crossbar into goal. Daniel Ftáčnik scored 0-6 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Durval Araújo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Durval Araújo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olof Wiberg in the 39th minute of play. After 41st play minutes Olof Wiberg shot 0-7, a short shot which went by Durval Araújo and just under the crossbar into goal. Durval Araújo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Ješo in the 44th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, F.C Fribourg's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Malý came free, but Durval Araújo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Kukova United were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joélson Saldanha was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, F.C Fribourg's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Ješo came free, but Durval Araújo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Durval Araújo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olof Wiberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 59 minutes into the game, Erik Malý cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-10. Durval Araújo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lennart Albom took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Durval Araújo. Durval Araújo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. 65 minutes into the match, Olof Wiberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Durval Araújo. F.C Fribourg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olof Wiberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-12. Kukova United made a substitution. Tibor Pitoňák replaced Matúš Kriššák. In the 71st minute, Erik Malý reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Durval Araújo. The goal made the score 0-13. The audience was convinced that Daniel Ftáčnik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Durval Araújo was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Durval Araújo made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Erik Malý sent off a good shot on target. 80 minutes into the match, Pavol Halko dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Durval Araújo, 0-15. Durval Araújo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erik Malý in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute, Dinei Lago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Durval Araújo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Ješo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. F.C Fribourg's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Erik Malý scored to the left of an out of position Durval Araújo, making the score, 0-17.
