The crowd rose to their feet as Ernesto Belarmo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Betinho Moura. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Betinho Moura made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernesto Belarmo in the 7th minute. Lukács Bánhegyi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Ortle in the 15th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Miladin Kirichev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betinho Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd match minute, C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radomil Prusinowski to maneuver through the defense. C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Betinho Moura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. from getting a goal against them. In the 31st minute, Sid Lampard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Betinho Moura got control of the ball when Miladin Kirichev tried to sneak it across the goal line. C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Betinho Moura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, Hungarian Olympic's Betinho Moura threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edmund Eliasson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 37th minute Victor Ortle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lukács Bánhegyi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Betinho Moura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmund Eliasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 47 minutes, Miladin Kirichev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungarian Olympic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miladin Kirichev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernesto Belarmo made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Radomil Prusinowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd minute, Endre Révész got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Hungarian Olympic getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Béla Demeter hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernesto Belarmo in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Betinho Moura prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 63 minutes into the match, Hungarian Olympic's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Ortle came free, but Lukács Bánhegyi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65thth minute of the game Ernesto Belarmo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Betinho Moura was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Edmund Eliasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Vágner Severo was substituted for Victor Ortle. In the 74th minute Vágner Severo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lukács Bánhegyi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernesto Belarmo in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Betinho Moura saved C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. from getting behind. In the 80th minute, Vágner Severo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lukács Bánhegyi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Betinho Moura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miladin Kirichev in the 82nd minute of the match. Betinho Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miladin Kirichev in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Walter Tufan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lukács Bánhegyi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. If Sid Lampard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Hungarian Olympic's Mátyás Zakariás got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 95th minute, Vágner Severo had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After 95 minutes, Haji Bandell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hungarian Olympic and the C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Hungarian Olympic's Haji Bandell got a free kick in the 96th minute. Although Hungarian Olympic had been in control for most of the match, C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. still came away with the win.
